Hi Linda,

My name is Chris Baker.
I'm an African drum facilitator from Beau Bruderlin's InRhythm team who will be running the workshop at your summer school next year :-)

A little bit about myself:

I have been playing and performing with drums and percussion for over 25 years and have been teaching assorted drumming applications (drum kit to percussion instruments)for over
10 years now and what I love most about my job is seeing the joy people recieve from expressing themselves through drum rhythms :-)

About our workshop:

The students will be introduced to a fun way of creating awareness to "present moment living" through
rhythm.

We will take a journey, creating a traditional African rhythm from scratch, which includes some really funky grooves n' chants that will allow them to discover new ways to express themselves and
have lots of fun in the process!

If you would like further info please don't hesitate to email me at chris@inrhythm.com.au or phone
0414 585 796

Regards,

Chris.

Linda

Very please to hear that the MSCA is back.

I loved being a student at three of the previous workshops and hope to be able attend Summer 08.

Hi Im Pauline Aconley & discovered my passion for movement, particularly Belly Dance, at a small festival near Wagga almost 18years ago. Since then I have developed my own style and interpretation of movements from the Middle East & beyond.
I am looking forward to providing a workshop that allows women the freedom to move with heart & spirit in their world.
The classes will encorporate both gentle and vibrant movement, gypsy to classical techniques, rituals, women's sharing, visualisation, improvised dance, relaxation and even Thai stretch & massage to end your active day.
I would love to hear from anyone who is considering this workshop & would like to know more. You can email spiral@asitis.net.au , or speak directly on 0438932610 or 02 64932610.
Love & light
Pauline
